Not saying that I would do such a thing, but IF I ever thought to open an alcoholic beverage while operating a motor vehicle I would most likely consume said beverage from the bottle. I'm almost (almost) certain that was the case here. ,,,.>

Don Lino Africa with a few years on it. Hated it when I tried one fresh, but it was ok tonight. Not great, but I smoked it all and was glad I did.

Since I last posted, I have had a 5 Vegas Gold (very smooth after 20 months in the humi), CAO Black, CAO MX2, and Camacho SLR (all very good).

Right now I'm enjoying a really good Torano Tribute with a glass of port. I might need to keep my eyes peeled for more of these.

Started off with a very nice RP Edge Maddy while standing waist deep in the pool. Sat it on the edge to grab my drink and check my phone, turned back and it was gone. Wind blew it into the pool. F-me!

Got a Dbl Espresso to replace it.

Well the job came through yesterday (just down to details) and I was already planning on going to my previously scheduled 'Men of Leisure' meeting so we opted to make it into a wake of sorts instead of a celebration of the return to 'the grind'. But don't fret, it was and Irish wake ,,,<l

Started the day off with a quick stop into my local shop and took a stroll down to the pub that conveniently sits along the river. Pint of Fuller's Seafarers in hand we headed out for a smoke.

Image

Started with a Cohiba Esplendidos that was excellent! Perfect draw, well rounded flavors and just a pleasure to sit and watch burn.

A few more pints and then this showed up in front of me...

Image

Fuller's 2004 Vintage Ale  It was like drinking fruitcake that flowed down the gullet with a velvety smoothness. I nearly had to change my pants...

Had a quick bite to eat (the Vintage is 8.5% and was getting a bit woosy on an empty stomach) and settled into a quick afternoon smoke as the young ladies filtered in from there jobs for a few bottles of wine. Gotta love a pub garden full of young ladies with ample breastages and pride in their cleavage :bounce:

Since it was a quick one I went for a Cohiba Siglo II

Image

Flavors not as defined or mellow as the Esplendidos and it smoked a bit harsh. A purge took care of most of that and it was enjoyable but not a cigar that I would visit again for the money.

The cackling was getting a bit annoying for the visual return so we headed up to the shop too meet some other friends for an evening smoke. Good group of folks in the lounge and lots of different cigars being smoked so I took a few recommendations and settled on a Ramon Allones Phoenicia. 6.5x54 and one powerhouse of a cigar. Not a kick you in the balls power, but more of a restrained power with notes of rich fresh earth, toasted nuts and leather with a nice balance of pepper. Just an excellent cigar with a long lingering finish. Now I have to get to work to pay for it

All in all a great send off to the 'life of leisure'. I will miss it, but at least I can visit it on the weekends :beerchug:

Way to go out with a bang!! Kind of like throwing your own funeral?

No cell shots of ampleness?

Pretty good night of cigar smoking at the Thursday night herf. Spectacularly GORGEOUS summer evening / night on the western shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. Wound up smoking four cigars and slurping booze until 1:00AM. Today is going to be one looooong mother-effin day.

Started out with a Graycliff G2 Turbo ( :bounce: :bounce: ). Had a few wrapper problems (awfully fragile cigar for its 6 x 60 immensity) but overall, I was quite impressed. Then I smoked a Sancho Panza Seleccion Delamonte Habana. That one was a little "rough around the edges" ( :bounce: ). I don't think I'm a huge Sancho Panza fan.

Lets see, then I smoked a Tatuaje Havana Nobles ( :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: ) and shared a few with my buddies. We all adored those things. You never seen such tiny nubs in the ashtrays as after those Tatuajes.

Then I polished myself off with a Jesus Fuego Delirium ( :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: ). Damn that was one tasty cigar. Went really well with a glass of Famous Grouse at 1:00AM. I could have sat out there all night and smoked.

But now I'm at work.

I'm kind of in a tizzy.

I smoked nothing last night after having 2 fillings fixed. And Rig and HR's posts have made me insanely jealous. Sure hope my teeth feel good enough to smoke tonight. Ever have a sensitive tooth and get smoke on it? Not a good feeling.

Congrats on the job Sean!

Went golfing for an industry outing yesterday and smoke a Perdomo ESV and a Cigar.com Corojo label torp while enjoying a beautiful day and free Bud Light. Love "work" days like that :headbang:

Yeah I found it on there..... I remember seeing it on the monster before too. But its no longer on the famous site, I guess I should have got it when I had the chance.
